Please note that, due to recent changes to immigration facilities, vehicles are no longer allowed near the border offices. Therefore, upon arrival, travelers will walk a short distance to complete Costa Rica’s exit formalities, including the exit tax and passport stamp.
Afterward, you will proceed on foot to the Nicaraguan immigration offices to receive your entry stamp. After completing the process, you will walk toward the main exit, where our local driver will be waiting just outside to continue the journey comfortably to San Jorge, from where you will take the ferry to Ometepe Island.
